Norwood Yard is a compact 00 exhibition layout, owned by Brian and Harry, two of our club members.

The layout depicts a commercial area, on the edge of a rural landscape. It is based on an original idea in Hornby Magazine in 2007 entitled 'No Space, No Problem' and utilises the published track plan.

Measuring only 5ft. X 13ins., the layout is compact, portable, and yet contains sufficient trackwork, including 4 turnouts, to provide sustainable interest for the operators and spectators alike. The track for the layout (code 100) was actually laid down during the Crook exhibition in November 2009 and the layout was first exhibited in 2010.

Although normally operated with DC control, the layout can also be operated by DCC by plugging in a suitable controller.
