About Our Club

We are a small club established 27 years ago in 1982. This year's Club Exhibition at the Shildon Civic Hall was our 24th. show.

We have 20 members including junior members to whom we teach the arts of our hobby. These skills include model and layout building, electronics, joinery, metal work, photography and the history of local and national railways etc.

We display model layouts at exhibitions around the north of England, also venturing into Scotland. We have 14 exhibition layouts in N, OO, and HO gauges.

We meet on Tuesday evenings at 7pm on the 1st. Floor, Lightfoot Institute, Kingsway, Bishop Auckland- DL14 7JN
